In an interweaving of artistic, scientific and practically oriented research approaches, the Co.Lab Mycelial Space makes mushrooms the starting point for an open-ended exploration of relational, non-binary and ahierarchical concepts of art and knowledge production that are characterized by an idea of togetherness, sharing and care.
Together with experts from various disciplines and practical fields, a space for synergies and collaborations will be opened up in the context of courses, workshops, exhibitions, excursions and other formats, making diverse sustainable future concepts tangible. Through artistic-research methods and low-threshold mediation formats, traditional categories of knowledge and social norms are questioned and practices of understanding/learning in the sense of good coexistence are strengthened.
