The activities of Interface Cultures take place in our department in the Domgasse building of the Kunstuniversität Linz. Several rools of the department are dedicated to didactic activities as well as to artwork production.
Lectures, department meetings and workshops are held in the department lecture room.
Students can have access to dedicated working rooms, furnished with desks and lockers, to work in the faculty at course assignments and personal projects.
For project production, IC is equipped with two dedicated computer rooms, a small but well furnished production workshop and a rapid prototyping lab with 3d printers, soldering stations and laser cutters that can be used by the students. Moreover, the department has a rich selection of shared equipment – midi controllers, cameras, speakers, projectors, VR-headsets … – that student can use for their own experiments and productions upon request.
Additionally, students can access the many specialized facilities of the university.
A detailed list of facilities is avaliable here.
