Performance von Jaskaran Anand, Studierendem bei Interface Cultures, im Rahmen der Europäischen Theaternacht. Around „plastic“, the transdisciplinary performance focuses on the behaviour of plastic, which by definition in Oxford dictionary, is to form and deform. Taking the definition of plastic in the broader sense, the performance while addressing the current environmental crisis brings focus to the concept of the plasticity of the human psyche and how different fragments of information shape the human mind.
Accompanied by a sound composition, created through the element of plastic as well as two video works, which put uses of and alternatives to plastic in the context of capitalism, media consumption and political models of power into their center.
The transdisciplinary and interactive performance „Hibernating Further“ turns Brunnepassage into a plasticified space. It will be followed by a performance-related-discussion with Sabrina Bühn about the philosophy of plasticity and ecology with the audience. The performance and discussion will take place in English.
