Fr 17.00 bis 20.00 Uhr Am Asphalt sind sie gestrandet. Zwei Seecontainer. Der Anlegeplatz weit vom Wasser verschoben. Dichte Stahlkonstrukte konfrontieren mit neuem Raumgefüge. Bis das nächste Ladeschiff, Anfang des Sommers, zur Ursprungsfunktion aufruft wird hier ein temporärer Kunstraum erschaffen. Mit insgesamt neun wöchentlich wechselnden Ausstellungen zeigen Studierende der Abteilung Plastische Konzeptionen/Keramik der Kunstuniversität Linz wie Hartes, Flauschig, Weichgekochtes, Pastellig Überkreuzendes, sinnlich Formloses bis zum Siedepunkt generiert werden kann. Freitags ertönen überdies rund um die Stahlkisten Soundgefüge, Geräusche und Wortfragmente. Es werden geladene Klangerzeuger*innen, Körperformationsmenschen und stille Massen in die Dämmerung schwimmen, solange bis die Pforten der Kisten verschlossen werden, um am darauffolgenden Dienstag in neuem Kunstlicht eröffnet zu werden.

Stranded on the asphalt lie two sea containers. The port is far from water. Dense steel constructions confronted with a new spatial structure. Until the next cargo ship calls at the beginning of summer, a temporary art space will be created here. With a total of nine weekly changing exhibitions, students from the Department of Sculptural Conceptions / Ceramics of the University of Art Linz show how different forms, whether hard, fluffy, soft-boiled, or pastel-like, can reach a boiling point of exploration and inquiry. On Fridays, complex sounds such as noises and word fragments are emitted around the steel boxes. Invited sound generators, performers and silent masses will create an atmosphere for us to head off into the twilight until the doors of the boxes are closed. To be opened up once more, in a new light, on the following Tuesday.
