Nachhaltige Baumaterialien, soziales Unternehmertum und partizipative Planungsmethoden sind nur einige Meilensteine der postgradualen Architekturausbildung die im April 2022 an der Kunstuniversität Linz in ihre zweite Runde geht.
Studierende aus Indien, Perú, Estland, Uganda, Deutschland, Polen, Jordanien, Uganda und Iran werden in den nächsten 6 Monaten in Theorie und Praxis in Linz arbeiten und im Herbst ihr Wissen auf einer Baustelle in Thailand anwenden. Begleitet werden sie von internationalen Gastprofessor*innen und Handwerkern.
Globale Herausforderungen wie der enorme CO2 Ausstoß der Baubranche, leistbares Wohnen für alle und gesunde Städte bedürfen globaler Kooperationen. Das Studio BASEhabitat ist seit mehr als 15 Jahren als Pionier in diesem Feld tätig.

Sustainable building materials, social entrepreneurship and participatory planning methods are just a few milestones of the postgraduate architecture education, which will enter its second round at the University of Art and Design Linz in April 2022.
Students from India, Peru, Estonia, Uganda, Germany, Poland, Jordan, Uganda and Iran will work in theory and practice in Linz over the next 6 months and apply their knowledge on a construction site in Thailand in autumn. They are accompanied by international visiting professors and craftsmen.
Global challenges such as the enormous CO2 emissions of the construction industry, affordable housing for all and healthy cities require global cooperation. Studio BASEhabitat has been a pioneer in this field for more than 15 years.
