Eine Kooperation von Kunstuniversität Linz und Impossible
“Polaroid – an Impossible Project” was the name of Sabine Jelinek’s course in the winter semester of 2011/12. Many have declared the medium of analog instant photography as dead – but it’s alive! The course focused on exploring the working possibilities with various currently available formats and techniques, as well as the examination of artists who use(d) to work with the medium. After a basic introduction to the topic and a workshop at the Impossible Project Space Vienna, the participating students worked independently and presented their theses in an exhibition in Linz, wherein students presented their artistic positions on the interaction between painting and photography.
