Generatives Design versucht, Gestaltungsprozesse der Natur nachzuahmen. Mittels Algorithmen werden die unterschiedlichsten Permutationen einer Lösung durchgespielt und dabei unzählige verwandte Ergebnisse erzielt anstatt nur eines einzigen. Generatives Design trägt dadurch auch dazu bei, neue Formen und Strukturen zu entwickeln.

"I am a 32-year-old product designer based in Switzerland. My work is the fruit of material testings and observations. This interest started while studying architectural drawing and was cultivated further as an industrial designer at the Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne ECAL. My practice gives me the opportunity to work and produce objects with several leading companies such as Nestlé, Alessi, USM, Steelecase and Google. In 2014 I moved to Boston where I started a collaboration with MIT Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I am still collaborate on experiments together with MIT’s Self Assembly Lab."
