Eine Serie von Fotogrammen, die die Beziehung zwischen Natur und Menschen untersucht. Ohne den Einsatz von Chemikalien zeigen diese Bilder eine Kollaboration zwischen Silbersalzen und Botanik. Die Königsprotea, die Nationalblume meines Heimatlandes Südafrika, repräsentiert eine, vom Klimawandel, bedrohte Art. Das Projekt thematisiert persönliche Erfahrungen von Verlust und die Verbindung zur Erde.
A series of photograms exploring the relationship between nature and humans. Without the use of chemicals, these images show a collaboration between silver salts and florals. The King Protea, national flower of my home country, South Africa, represents one of many endangered species threatened by climate change. The project aims to honour personal experiences of loss and our connection to Earth.
Nastasha Darlingtons work explores the use of different materials and researches alternative processes. By focusing on the utilisation of natural elements, she navigates methods that allow nature to draw herself.
