raum&designstrategien lädt immer Mittwoch abends Künstler*innen ein, aus ihrer künstlerischen Praxis zu erzählen. Es wird gemeinsam gekocht und gegessen, Projekte werden gezeigt und Studierende, Lehrende und Gastvortragende und -kochende diskutieren, was eine zukünftige Praxis für Raumstrateg*innen sein könnte. Markus Hiesleitner

In his conceptual sculptures and installations, Austrian artist Markus Hiesleitner deals with social, political and economic issues and mechanisms as well as the relationship between humans and nature. Besides his artistic practice he is also the co-founder of the experimental art space Kulturdrogerie Wien and the art project flora pondtemporary in St. Florian, which deals with questions of how art can balance the contradictions between city and countryside, free space and densification, tradition and fast-moving trends.
