In our highly networked world, the material and ethical interferences of the techindustry that dominates our daily lives are opaque. What might happen if we give into listening to the ghosts in our machines? What kind of stories would they tell to us?
stones~are~angels~ is a surreptitiously participatory performance that aspires toraise a ware nessofthe mineral substratum of our aethereal technologies, by augmenting our encounter with our electronic companions insitu, and using our intra-actions as means for collective composition. The noise from electromagnetic pickup microphones worn by the performer triggers consecutivelayersofsonicn arratives that tell the story of their origin, deeply intertwined with our future.
