During our Erasmus training and teaching period in Corfu, we co-organized a Summer School at the Ionian University where we led a daily morning workshop focused on spatial audio and hybrid soundscapes. Working alongside five other teachers from the Ionian University, the Anton Bruckner University and the Bologna Conservatory, we guided a diverse group of 35 international students. Together, we explored innovative approaches to sound, culminating in the collaborative composition of pieces for the dodekaOTTO, a 3D audio sculpture that we brought to the island. This experience not only allowed us to delve deeply into immersive spatial audio and composition, but also helped establish a network for future academic collaboration with peers from Greece and Italy, fostering interdisciplinary connections and paving the way for future projects.
