Unpainted Undrawn is a series of works which are composed by cracked LCDscreens, which are mounted in panting frames. The aims of this works is tolegitimize as art, images which are not created by aesthetical choice, but theyare a real expression of the materiality of the medium. The role of the frameexploits the stereotype of classical art: in one hand the frame indicates that theimage which it contain is “art”, in the other hand, the frame create a conceptu-al connection with painting. Virtual images have no physical references with themedium they use. Differently, the images of cracked screens are created bytheir materiality, as well as painting, the image comes from the paint physicality.
