The Industrial Design BA degree program teaches the skills to act as a generalist designer in the field of tension between people, technology, social trends and strategic product positioning.
Graduates of the Industrial Design Bachelor's degree program are able to independently carry out iterative-agile design processes and develop comprehensible, accurate solutions. The design process is based on heuristic and empirical methods and requires the ability to reflect. Accordingly, the Bachelor's degree program imparts creative, brand-related, technological and strategic knowledge and promotes creative-scientific innovation as a basis for the later profession as a designer. Graduates have the interface competence to combine detailed information into solutions in interdisciplinary design and work processes.
They have also developed the decisive skills to continue their education in their specialist field largely independently and to pursue further (Master's) studies.
