The space&designstrategies master programme, which is unique in Europe, builds on the eponymous bachelor programme, but also allows for lateral entry from several other fields of study. The core of the programme consists of cross-cutting societal themes located at the interfaces of art, architecture, design and digital media. Research-inspired design for a better world results in the development of conceptual questions. These are defined, pondered, considered, doubted, deliberated, contemplated, reviewed and redefined in a spirit of trendy pragmatism. Co-operation projects allow for prototypical project implementation already while studying. During the master programme, students develop advanced artistic-strategic professional skills. A key objective of the programme is the stimulation of a critically grounded, innovative competency to inquire and ask questions.
Another key aim of the programme is to establish interfaces with both young and internationally renowned artists by organising lecture series, excursions, workshops and projects.
