Duration: 6 semesters
To be admitted to a Bachelor's programme, applicants have to pass the entrance exam of the department. In addition, the study programmes Architecture, Industrial Design and Cultural studies also require a high school/ secondary school/ university entrance certificate (e.g. "Matura").
Duration: 4 semesters
To be admitted to a Master’s programme, applicants need a compatible Bachelor’s certificate and have to pass the entrance exam of the department (except for the Master’s programme Media Art and Culture Theory)
Duration: 8 semesters
This study programme requires a high school/ secondary school/ university entrance certificate (e.g. "Matura") and applicants have to pass multiple admission procedures (Module A, B, and, depending on the subjects, also C). Because this study programme meets the requirements of the Austrian school system with the goal of teaching children, it is held in German and applicants have to submit a German language certificate at the time of enrolment (B2, or higher depending on the second subject). This study programme requires a Bachelor's certificate of a compatible teacher training programme offered by the "Cluster Mitte", or a similar, compatible Bachelor's certificate of a recognised post-secondary institute.
