The younger the children, the more important it is to provide age-appropriate creative activities and ensure sensitive supervision. Even at a very young age, too much instruction and suppression of the child's joy of experimentation can interrupt or bring to a standstill the joy of creating and painting that is inherent in every healthy developing child. In our courses, we train elementary school teachers to set up suitable activities in their facilities and to accompany them.
Kindergarten Römerbergstraße/ Linz
In February 2017, 18 school beginners attended the Art University on three dates. During the three-hour workshops, they painted and sculpted to their hearts' content. The visit was rounded off with insights into the premises of individual fields of study at the University of Art.
A kindergarten teacher is currently attending our course in order to optimize the painting and design area in her own institution.
Kindergarten St. Martin i.I.
A painting and design area has been set up in the forest and meadow group at the St. Martin im Innkreis kindergarten. Under the guidance of kindergarten teacher Ingrid Pointecker, the children can paint and create on their own. Ingrid Pointecker is a graduate of the university course "Painting and Design - Creative Work with Children" and set up the open painting and design area after completing her training.
