The duo Heidi Pretterhofer and Michael Rieper, who have held the professorship for Baukultur at the Department of Architecture at the University of Art and Design Linz since 2023/24, invited guests to the inaugural lecture on January 31, 2024.

Upper Austria painted on begins with an open landscape, encompasses the built, but also the unbuilt, the in-between. Upper Austria painted out concerns the planning and production processes, has an impact on coexistence and negotiates the design of the future.
