The ifk International Research Center for Cultural Studies in Vienna has been a center of the University of Arts Linz since January 1, 2015. Founded in 1992 as an association, it had already been docked to the University of Arts Linz since 2011.
For more than 20 years, the ifk has been an internationally renowned research college for interdisciplinary cultural studies with an International Advisory Board (IAB | International Advisory Board), an infrastructure for visiting researchers (senior, research and junior fellows) and an extensive program of conferences, workshops and lectures as well as an annual summer academy for young researchers. The outstanding quality of the applications is the decisive criterion for the selection of Fellows.
