Fall break at the University of Art - Comic Special II

Are you into comics? Do you like drawing and would like to take part in a comic exhibition yourself?

The Kids'YouthCreative University is offering a comic focus for the second time during the fall vacations. In two-day comic workshops, accompanied by artists, comic artists and illustrators, children and young people will create comic stories on the subject of friendship. The comic stories developed by the children and young people themselves will be presented as part of the internationally renowned "NEXTCOMIC Festival" in March 2023 in the form of an exhibition. A catalog documenting the children's and young people's comics will be published to accompany the exhibition.

Location: University of Art and Design Linz, Hauptplatz 8, 4020 Linz

Fee: 40 Euro

Comic workshops for children - 8 to 12 years
Comic workshop for teenagers - 10 to 16 years

Judith Auer - children's book illustrator and children's book author
Barbara M. Eggert (Eggy) - cultural scientist, comic researcher / comic author
Thomas Paster - visual artist in the fields of painting, illustration, caricature and design

Please note that there are only workshop places available for children aged 10 to 16 (COMIC WORKSHOP FOR YOUTH)!
