The master programme textile·art·design comprises four semesters and is based on the bachelor programme textile·art·design or on an equivalent, recognised curriculum.
The programme’s experimental and design-led work practice in the field of freelance art, with the inclusion of textile techniques chosen by the student, fosters the consolidation of an artistic-creative work practice. Two semesters are set aside for the development and deepening of personal approaches, accompanied by analyses compiled in writing. The third semester serves the purpose of concept development and refining, while the fourth semester is dedicated to the completion of the student’s master thesis, which takes the form of an artwork and a written documentation.

Academic Title
MA (Master of Arts)

Career Options
Graduates of the master programme textile·art·design acquire the required technical competence to pursue a freelance artistic career. Key activity areas include textile design, fashion design, the theatre (costume and stage design) and the creative industries. Those graduates who are active in these fields in a dependent capacity can use the skills thus acquired for autonomous project work.
