Tina Hainschwang "within you, without you"

In the sculptures produced for the show at Elektrohalle, Tina Hainschwang (*1986) continues her artistic interest in the interweaving of the enigmatic, the ambiguous and the amusing. The subversive and subtle twists in her appropriation of symbolic objects often lead to irritation and humorous distortions of content. In the title of the exhibition "within you, without you", the artist refers to the Beatles song of the same name, which contrasts the transience of one's own subject with the constant flow of life. - Niklas Koschel
