textil·kunst·design offers a comprehensive range of training courses. This includes weaving techniques, textile design, digital and analog printing processes as well as paper and latex shaping. A further focus is on product design and project-oriented work within textile and free application areas. In the course of the degree course, after acquiring basic knowledge, the focus is placed on shaping in a wide variety of media, from which an individual artistic practice can develop. Following the constantly topical examination of textile phenomena in art and everyday culture, the course opens up a broad field of experimental research.

The Bachelor's degree comprises six semesters and forms the prerequisite for further studies, in particular for the Master's degree in textil·kunst·design

Occupational fields 
In line with the universal significance of textiles, graduates can work in the entire creative industries. Others can be found in the extensive field of surface design, research in material technologies as well as in applied, industrial and art-related areas. The course also enables graduates to work in art institutions, in the context of exhibition and interior design, as well as assistantships in design labels, art studios, textile companies, trade fair support and in the field of performative costume design.
