On the opening night of this year's Vienna Design Week- on Thu, Sep 27 - the current WIEN PRODUCTS Collections will be shown at the festival headquarter "Das Gschwander". Thomas Feichtner created the “Shortcut“ table service for the Viennese Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten.

Thomas Feichtner created the “Shortcut“ table service for the Viennese Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten. The term “shortcut,” understood as a reference to simplicity and plainness, denotes a stark contrast to the classical and highly diversified porcelain services that the Manufactory, founded in 1718, originally produced.
The WIEN PRODUCTS Collection 2012 is a project in which Viennese business enterprises from traditional industrial sectors work together with aspiring young designers. This results in out-of-the-ordinary products with a special Viennese flair. The collaboration of perfect craftsmanship and masterly artistic achievements produces outstanding creations.
