Shallow Interaction Design

25. Jänner 2017, 10.30 Uhr Interface Culture Lecture Room, Domgasse 1, 3.OG

“Shallow interaction design focuses on getting technology out of the way in order to support positive social interactions, like paying attention to the people and environment around you.”

Interface Cultures lädt zum Gastvortrag von Gürkan Kurtbay im Rahmen der Interface Lectures Series.

Gürkan Kurtbay works with sensory based technologies and his experience, using vvvv or otherwise, with users in bodily interaction works is extensive. Observing how users interact with bodily work generates the question of what users are willing to experience through their own representations.
By presenting examples of projects, backstage analysis of works, experiments and prototypes he works with he will elaborate his general philosophy, approach to designing interaction and problem solving methods.
