In her retrospective exhibition BILDER LESEN at MUFUKU Weibern, Anna Artaker shows works from the last 20 years. In her work, Artaker examines the role images play in our perception of reality. For example, she has dealt with historical photographs or imaging techniques that were also used in the sciences.
Anna Artaker's artworks have been shown at the New Museum in New York, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid and the mumok in Vienna, among others.
