Die Abteilung Tangible Interaction Design lädt zur Guest Lecture von Vera Rosner und Silke Grabinger.
Vera Rosner is a dance trainer, choreographer, performer and lives in Vienna. She teaches different formats with movement. Choreography ‘6 tanzen’, ‘Auf freie Fuß’, ‘dancing with paints’ (cooperation with L.A.C.E. Theatre, Los Angeles), ‘(Ruderal-)Flora’ and ‘Fuss-Noten’, ‘banc de jardin’, ‘Das Lied der Stille’ (for children). As a performer she has appeared on stage in In-Mich, Flamenco, Hermes by Sonja Browne, Gala by Jerôme Bel. Since 2018 on stage for Doris Uhlich (Habitat, Habitat pandemic, Everybody Electric, Melancholic Ground, Pudertanz). She is a founding board member of DanceAbility Vienna and MAD Coproductions, where she is responsible for the Mellow Yellow initiative as part of the artistic leadership team.
Silke Grabinger connects urban and contemporary dance with performative art and robotics. Thereby she deals critically with social phenomenona, artistic paradigms and the role of the recipient. After performing in the Cirque du Soleil production “LOVE”. She finished her studies “space and designstrategies” with a bachelor degree and a master degree for her studies in “time-based media”. Currently she is a Phd Candidate. She has volunteered to be a “Versuchsperson” (an experimental subject) in the timeframe of 10 minutes each for different international choreographers. She developed a dance notation for musicians and cooperated performance piece “Moving Architecture”, which is based on the architecture of the Austrian Cultural Forum New York. She founded SILK Cie. to produce her own artistic works and – SILK Fluegge in order to develop dance and performance crossdisciplinary artworks. In 2021 she founded KLISCOPE, in a former chapel, a performative space open for experiments and visions.
