The MOOC “ Diversity in the context of university. Racism-critical perspectives into everyday university life” deals with cultural and ethnic diversity at universities. Based on the diverse university community at the University of Vienna, it provides knowledge and expertise in the areas of diversity, inclusion and anti-discrimination. Expert interviews with academics and stakeholders were chosen as the methodological approach in order to locate best-practice examples and institutional approaches to diversity. Petz Haselmayer was invited to give a video input in the context of their work at Decolonizing in Vienna! and the university's position on colonial history and knowledge. The course is part of the EU+ project HELCI - Higher Education Learning Community for Inclusion in cooperation with the University of Vienna, the University of Salamanca in Spain and Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania.
