March 5, 2025, 7 p.m. Studio house Salzamt
Artists from the Tangible Music Lab from the University of Arts Linz are exploring the unique and challenging acoustic characteristics of the historic Salzamt gallery space.
With its reverberant properties, the space presents both opportunities and obstacles for sonic exploration. To address its potential, the artists use specially adapted loudspeakers and acoustic musical instruments. Through careful experimentation, they manipulate the space’s natural sound reflections, resonances and reverberations to create an immersive auditory experience. This exploration invites the audience to experience the gallery’s acoustics in a new and transformative way.
