The Art.Research Department offers support to the staff of the University of Arts Linz in all matters relating to art.research.

Funding in the field of art.research includes

• Start-up funding for research proposals
• Start-up funding for PhD candidates and post-docs
• Support in the initiation of new collaborations for EU projects
• Conference funding
• Publication grant for print
• Publication grant for hybrid and digital publication formats
• Publication grant for journal articles

Applications can be submitted at any time via calls.kunstuni-linz.at. Applications must be received at least two weeks before the quarterly award meeting in order to be considered.

Dates for the award meetings in 2024 are

• March 6, 2024
• May 29, 2024
• October 2, 2024
• November 27, 2024
