The entry into an “alternate” world – the exit from familiar reality. Or perhaps: back to the ground of hard facts?
In a politically and socially tumultuous world, pressing questions arise: Do we continue to nourish dreams of escape? Or do we seek solid ground where we and our children can live?
Strategies for dealing with the challenges of our time are as varied as they are controversial. But what role does art play amid these tensions? Is it a refuge, an emergency exit – or even the foundation of our society?
In the three-part exhibition “Enter Exit Down” organized by the Department of Plastic Conception / Ceramics, students explore complex global themes – between departure and flight, between hope and confrontation.
A nearly inescapable exhibition.

Featuring works by:
Jacob Bartmann, Leonie Brunner, Ivy Deacon, Zelal Engin, Victoria Ettl, Rebecca Hofer, Jieun Kim, Maria Nalbantova, Margaryta Plakhtiienko, Christopher Rusche-Schall, Nadja Schütz, Helena Sekot
