In English-speaking countries, they are called "brown bag lectures" - because of the snack bag required. At the University of Arts Linz, we call them “lunchtime lectures”, given by doctoral students and researchers who present their current research. The lectures take place online, so everyone has to organise their own provisions. The speakers provide interesting food for thought, you provide the discussion.
