Natalia Domínguez Rangel Bogotá – Colombia - Dutch nationality.
Currently lives and works between Amsterdam and Vienna.
Domínguez Rangel makes installations, sculptures and performances artworks. She also incorporates her expertise in music composition as a mechanism for contemplating the imperceptible, the unseen, the impalpable.
Her work connects with architecture, acoustics, technology and nature. She's interested how sound affects and resonates with a body physiologically and psychologically, and how critical listening deepens, extends and sets connections to other acoustic ecologies not only to the anthrophony.
Domínguez Rangel has exhibited her works throughout Europe and Latin America in various contexts, from festivals, to galleries, museums and interventions in public spaces. She is a docent in the field of sound studies since 2017 at Design Art Technology department of ArtEZ, Arnhem, NL.
