Abstract:

In a globalized society media have become much of our real and symbolic consumption and production. These everyday media technologies and the popular entertainment are linked and shape a global cultural memory of self-identity and life style which, at the same time, are connected to the networks of globalized political economy. Before this background emerges a global storytelling in cinema that deals with branding strategies, market orientation and tries to increase attention in a globalized media culture.
