The Art.Research department understands itself as an interface to funding organisations. Beyond their offerings, we aim to provide individual advice from the project idea to the final report of a successfully acquired project. Below, we present a small selection of further education opportunities. For individual consultations, please feel free to contact us.
In collaboration with the Department of Personnel Development and Continuing Education, the Art.Research|PhD department offers the workshop "Getting Fit For Funding – Wie man einen effektiven Antrag verfasst " once a year. Further Education for National Funding
The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) offers workshops and informational events for its own funding lines, providing in-depth information on specific funding lines, submitting good proposals (such as "FWF Coaching Workshop: Submitting a FWF Proposal in the Program for the Development and Exploration of the Arts"), or successfully implementing already funded projects: https://www.fwf.ac.at/aktuelles/eventkalender (activate the filter for FWF events on the left).
Further Education Opportunities for EU Funding (specifically Horizon Europe)
The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) offers information, training, and experience exchange from project initiation to project completion through the FFG Academy: https://www.ffg.at/europa/akademie. The Horizon Europe Community Austria offers low-threshold exchanges with practitioners, such as through the Coffee Talk formats, where project leaders share their experiences with specific funding instruments: https://horizon-europe-community.at/components/20360.
