SustainARTability
From 26 August to 6 September 2024, the SustainARTability project took place in Riga, organized by one of our partner universities, the Art Academy of Latvia. Students from Greece, UK, France, Finland, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Austria and Latvia took part.
Our student, Mirijam Zieglmeier (Master's program MKKT), represented Austria: "I planted our starting material, seeds, on my white flag and at the opening you could eat the little plants on a sandwich (traditional Latvian ryebread). I wanted to make the plants (nature) dependent on me in the process, I took care of them and created an artificial environment. At the same time, the plants in nature are completely independent and have everything they need. We have taken that away from them. I wanted to draw attention to that."
We are delighted that our global partnerships give students at the University of Arts Linz the opportunity to take part in such exciting projects that are so important for our future.
