Japan Media Arts Festival 2013

Univ.Prof.Dr. Christa Sommerer und Univ.Prof.Dr. Laurent Mignonneau (Leitungsteam der Studienrichtung Interface Cultures) erhalten für ihre neue interaktive Arbeit "Excavate" den Jurypreis beim "Japan Media Arts Festival" in Tokyo.

In the new work "Excavate" (2012) visitors can interact with a magic lantern interface that allows them to explore dark particles which assemble to built up faint children faces that appear and dissapear according to the users's interactions.

The work was developed for The View Contemporary Art Space, Switzerland.
