A subtle alliance of choreography and music in a quest between exile and homeland.
In a close collaboration between the choreographer Uiko Watanabe and the composer Sarah Wéry, OMOI evokes issues of exile, cultural differences and the irrepressible need to rediscover “home” one day. But perhaps it’s just an inaccessible mirage, a fantasy place that we need to learn to rediscover one day through traces left behind by the past.
