As early as the 1970s, the artist and architect group Haus-Rucker-Co addressed the issue of increasing environmental pollution in their works and posed questions about future living concepts with visionary architectural designs. Projects such as the AusstellungsCOVER (exhibitionCOVER). Überleben in verschmutzter Umwelt (1971) (Survival in a polluted environment) point to the relevance of their artistic work to this day.
The panel discussion builds a bridge from the artistic concepts of Haus-Rucker-Cos to the current challenges facing architecture and urban planning in the light of climate change.
