The Erasmus+ mobility grant can be extended within the limits of the budget. A subsidized extension is only possible once.

The extension period must immediately follow and may not exceed the total duration of stay of 12 months per study cycle (in the Bachelor's/1st study section of the diploma program and Master's/2nd study section of the diploma program), study visits are included per cycle. 
 

HOW TO EXTEND

Contact the internship providerat least 2 months before the end of the stay abroad:

• with the internship provider
• with the International Office of the University of Arts Linz international.office@kunstuni-linz.at

Documents to upload in the online application tool:

• Extension application
• Registration of Student Mobility
• Traineeship Agreement/Extension “during the mobility”

You must clarify the extension and possible creditability with your study administrator.

The extension will be granted by the University of Arts Linz, which will provide an extension agreement for the Erasmus+ mobility grant. 
 

What else needs to be extended?

• Insurance cover
• Visa (if required)
• ÖH membership fee for the extension semester
• Change OLS end date if necessary
• IPS scholarship from the province of Upper Austria if required
